Eleven homes in the historic Montford district of Asheville, N.C. will be open for viewing during the Holiday Season.

The 2007 Montford Tour of Homes is set for Saturday Dec. 8, in the city’s most historic neighborhood. Hours are 1:00 to 5:00 p.m. Tickets cost $20.

The homes on tour were constructed in the late 19th and early 20th Centuries, and reflect some of the nation’s best examples of late Victorian, Queen Anne, Arts and Crafts, and Craftsman Bungalow domestic architecture. Today the homes reflect the district’s renaissance of restoration and revival by Montford homeowners.
